Nashville’s South of Broadway District was been completely transformed with the opening of the Music City Center. BELL partnered with Clark Construction to be the Construction Manager at Risk for the LEED Gold Music City Center. The Music City Center is Tennessee’s largest LEED certified project.
The building features a 350,000 SF exhibit hall, a 57,000 SF grand ballroom, and an 18,000 SF junior ballroom and a 1,800-space parking garage. The facility's 175,000 square feet of green roof space is the largest of its kind in the southeastern United States. Stormwater drains through the roof and collects in an underground 350,000 square-foot cistern, where it joins condensate from the facility's HVAC system and is filtered before becoming part of the convention center's greywater system.
