Construction on the Rowen Glenn Center is Officially Underway
Nov 2, 2020
On the afternoon of November 1, 2020, we officially broke ground on the new Special Needs Ministry facility at Brentwood Baptist Church. The building will be named in honor of Rowen Glenn, the precious granddaughter of the church's pastor.
According to Special Needs Minister Tiffany McCullough, the Rowen Glenn Center will allow the church adequate space to provide "care, respite, and a place of belonging and value for friends in [the] community and in [their] church family who have been impacted by a disability." The church is already proudly serving a large population of individuals (from preschoolers to adults) with special needs, in addition to their parents, caregivers, and siblings. The addition of the Rowen Glenn Center will expand how the church is able to minister to and care for these individuals and their families.
The architect for the nearly 18,000-SF building, HH Architects, specializes in religious facilities. They began working with the church in 1999 and have provided master planning, architecture, and interior design services for several other components of the church. We are honored and excited to help HH continue bringing their vision to life with such a meaningful, impactful project.
