Bell & Associates served as the CM/GC for the extensive renovations completed at the Metro Nashville Airport.  Our team provided complete pre-construction and construction phase services for this multi-phased project.  The $39.2 million project included the consolidation of the security checkpoint from two existing checkpoints into one efficient single space, adding several building additions and renovations to accommodate 30 new retail vendors, 15 new skylights, and upgraded interior finishes, elevator improvements, complete renovations to all existing restrooms, and the replacement of the existing gate podiums, back screens, and storage.  New wall, floor, and ceiling finishes throughout the airport modernize the look of the facility and allow the airport to have its own identity that is unique to the Nashville market.  Two large water walls at the entrances to the new security checkpoint and dynamic new lighting lessen traveler anxieties.  The new finishes include stainless steel partitions, patterned terrazzo floors, limestone walls, and floating granite countertops.
